The TC4 remote control module is intended for reception and issuing of remote control commands, supervision of authenticity of received commands, control of actuation devices (contactors, etc.), monitoring of operability of auxiliary relays, monitoring of all phases of execution of the RC command.
2хRS-485, data rate up to 1 Mbit/s
IEC 60870-5-101
The channel control circuit uses two relays in series. Two primary relays (PR) corresponds to a single secondary relay (SR). Voltage monitoring is effected in front of and after contacts of each relay, except in case of unavailability of voltage at channel input at the initial moment of command execution.
Upon receiving the "select" command, a check is made to detect any faulty relays on the corresponding channel. If control can be effected, a positive confirmation receipt is issued, and the corresponding auxiliary relay`s indicator lights up in green. Moreover, the rest of indicators will remain unlit until the command`s execution is completed. Next, the up-to-date timer would starts, and the arrival of an "execute" command would be awaited. If the "execute" command is not received until the up-to-date time expires, or if another, "unexpected" command is received, the "execute" command`s execution is terminated, and the indicators return to the states they had before the said command`s execution was initiated. It is impossible to receive control commands simultaneously over two RS-485 ports.
