X-ray accuracy in manufacturing

In spring of 2016 multifunctional manufacturing complex has been officially opened, thus, the company “Prosoft-Systems” continued modernization of manufacturing sector of the facility. The X-ray control station Nordson Dage (Great Britain) has been introduced in October.

The X-ray equipment is considered to be indispensable while analyzing and researching non-visible connections in complex printing nodes. In particular, the new installation provides a single practical way to control soldered connections of BGA chips. Fluoroscopy allows to discover different hidden defects, usually unnoticeable within visual checking: hollows in soldered connections, bridgings between eductions, etc.

As the head of printing boards assembly workshop Tatyana Bokova notes: “Our potential as a manufacturer of electronic equipment constantly is constantly expanded. We constantly develop new units and modernize standard equipment. Still, the requirements of products quality have been consistently tightened. The station of X-ray control, being introduced into technological process, may sufficiently reduce the rate of defectives, and in case of the said waste detection, to provide prompt and inexpensive repair. Thus, it may significantly improve our products quality.”
